| Our Values The Goldenrod Foundation values partnership. We seek collaboration with non-profit organizations, community leaders, government agencies and businesses that share our commitment to conserving coastal ecosystems and protecting shorebirds. The Goldenrod Foundation values the contributions of biologists, ecologists, geomorphologists, ornithologists and other scientists, field researchers and educators. The Foundation’s projects, advocacy and policy initiatives are science-based. We believe that protecting barrier beach ecosystems requires a multi-dimensional approach. The Foundation’s operating projects integrate tools, expertise, and talent across various fields of knowledge and practice. We support public access to barrier beaches when management systems prevent damage to rare species habitat caused by human activities, minimize disruption of wildlife, and protect the coastal ecosystem for future generations. |
