Join Goldenrod Foundation and Jim Kundzicz at a Sky Viewing at Nelson Park. We’ll have Astronomical Binoculars set up and ready to explore the Moon, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn – in addition to searching for other deep sky objects as appropriate for this time of year.
Bring a folding chair, bug spray, your own binoculars, and even a cell phone camera for possible photos through the Binoculars.
While we’re at it, we can also view the Osprey nest at the Park – and get a glimpse of what they are up to as night approaches.
Our “cloud date” (if it’s too cloudy to see much) is Tuesday, June 23. If it’s still too cloudy we’ll try Wednesday, then Thursday, and finally Friday. If you would like to sign up below, we will send an update in case of inclement weather.
